History Of Medix School . . .
The
Medix School is a private allied health training school
devoted to the training of personnel for the Medical
and Dental professions. The School was founded by Jack
Tolbert in 1969 and has been in continuous operation
since that date. The School changed ownership in 1983
and 1986. In October 1988, the School was acquired by
EFC Trade, Inc. Throughout the twenty plus years of
operation, the programs have continued to produce qualified
graduates for the health care profession.
In August 1989, the Medical Secretary Program was changed
to Medical Office Administration and based on the advice
of Medical Claims Processing Companies, a Claims Processing
course has been added to the program.
