Massage Therapy
The stress of everyday life can be very hard on a person’s body, leaving them sore, aching and exhausted. As a student in Medix School-Towson’s Massage Therapy program, you will be trained to ease those pains, help relieve stress, and provide a feeling of well-being to your clients. Medix-Towson’s Massage Therapy program trains students to perform a full-body Swedish Massage, as well as work on specific aches and pains by incorporating bodywork techniques that include Deep Tissue Massage and Neuromuscular Therapy.

In addition to learning the hands-on skills that employers and clients are looking for, our students study the business of massage. Students are taught how to market their own private practices, prepare for employment, interact with clients, and communicate effectively with medical professionals in the community.

Massage Therapy graduates will receive a diploma and are eligible to sit for the NCETMB - National Certification Exam for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (required for employment in the State of Maryland).
